I am Maíra

I work through art as a living process, bridging creativity, embodiment, and culture

Born in Brazil and based in Amsterdam, my practice moves between ancestral wisdom, contemporary cultural inquiry, and future-oriented design. With a background in architecture and arts & culture, creativity became my path to remember myself - and now, I guide others to do the same.

As an artist, I investigate forms of being as a way of relating to the human experience. To me, art is not something we make. Art is way of being in the world. Not production. Not aesthetics. But perception, presence, devotion. A way to reawaken aliveness, connection, and meaning.

“Art & life flow
as one river.

When I express,
I map remembrance.”

I was born by the sea, where water was never a metaphor, but a living presence. A teacher. A rhythm. A way of understanding life

Today, water remains central to my work.

Like water, we are relational, intuitive, and deeply intelligent. When our creative current is blocked, we feel confusion, fragmentation, and stagnation. When it flows, clarity, presence, and direction emerge naturally. My work is about restoring that flow. In the body, in the heart, in the way we move through life.

Through embodied and creative processes, storytelling, and design, I support women in:

  • Shedding layers that no longer belong

  • Awakening their creative power and voice

  • Reconnecting with their body as source

  • Shaping their next chapter from embodied clarity

I believe we are all art, in our own unique ways.

And our lives are the medium through which this art takes form.

To remember who we are is to begin creating from truth. From that place, we don’t only change our lives, but we become part of shaping a more conscious, connected, and regenerative world.

I live for that remembrance.
